Hi my name is John El-Mokadem, and I’m a Breakthrough Coach based just outside of London, UK.
I graduated from the University of London with a Bachelors degree in Economics and a Masters in Business Information Systems, and started my career working as an IT Consultant, working for Accenture Services. Whilst there, I developed a bit of a reputation as a performance troubleshooter for complicated IT implementations and was consistently rated amongst the top 10% within the firm.
After 3 years at Accenture, I felt something was missing and decided to take a leave of absence from my career. During that time, I accidentally became exposed to the value of coaching. So inspired by what I was learning and the difference it made to me personally, I felt drawn to learning more. .
I began literally consuming self-development books and explored trainings with a multitude of different coaching philosophies. I went on to coach numerous individual clients and worked within a number of large corporations, teaching coaching and leadership skills.
As part of my own development, however, I began to notice flaws with traditional coaching models. They seemed to make me busier in my mind, like there was always something to do. I also began to realise that when I was settled down, I tended to be much more creative and wiser, as a natural by-product.
This prompted me to find out more about the Three Principles of Mind, Consciousness and Thought. First expounded by the philosopher, Sydney Banks, these Principles helped me to understand clearly the nature of the Mind and my human experience..
I began to see, for the first time, that I was truly whole and free. The clarity of Mind that resulted from being in this quieter place enabled me to experience breakthroughs in nearly every area of his life.
I’m a Certified Advanced Transformative Coach and former Apprentice to internationally renowkned coach and bestselling author, Michael Neill.
But perhaps more importantly, underneath the labels, I’m just a human being, like you, who has suffered like all of us do. I mostly see my struggles as a gift these days – an opportunity to open up and understand more about what this life is and to share what I have learned to help others to live happier lives and create their own breakthroughs.
